Three people from different walks of  life with similar passions for all things vintage came together to become Strange Patina. The trio is based in Chicago, IL but travel the Midwest and occasionally the south to unearth sought after rareities (and anything they find to be beautiful).

Strange Patina is interested in bringing back to use the things of our past. They believe in the handmade quality of vintage goods. Things that can be brought back to life, appreciated, learned from, repurposed, recycled, reused, or simply stay out of the landfill are daily goals.

The goods themselves are not the only thing SP enjoys about what they do; the hunt and adventure of meeting new people, traveling, and excitement of seeing, learning, and exploring is just as important. To be able to share all of these ideas and things with other people makes the day feel successful.
