Updates! New recent acquisitions, featured barber shop chairs, and a few things we couldn’t take home with us.

There are a few items that have just made it into the recently sold page.

Earlier this year we were fortunate to pick up a pair of barber shop chairs that were taken out of an old Chicago Barber Shop downtown. We sent these Bel-Aire chairs off to our trusty upholsterer where he did a great job. Red-orange material with silver studs around the back, these chairs look great! They were only on the  floor for a few minutes when someone spotted ‘em and was able to take them home.

  

While we were freestylin’ early this summer, we came across a garage sale with a really cool table and chairs. The owner said her mother bought it because it had no corners and was child-safe. But, our truck was overflowing and we had leave this set behind.

    

We found this drawing at the flea market one sunday. I would’ve loved to take it home but my pockets were empty and the car was loaded with some other neat finds. It’s assumed this was a plan drawing for a building that didn’t end up being completed in downtown Chicago.
